Too Hot to Tackle much

It was in the 90's today, which meant we were to get out of school early...but we didn't ....we had this funky pop up storm right at 3:30, (our JH was playing a baseball tourney right out the windows) and there was this crack of lightning/thunder and I jumped...strange part as usual that all the way home (5 long miles *wink*) was wet roads, get home nada...now since I work in the labs most of the time, you'd think that I have no reason to complain, but I am in and out of the air all day, and that makes it worse..two times my heart does its wonky thing...when I get too hot and when I get too cold...so today it was wonky...but I did tackle cleaning my car, I parked next to the boss and had this dreadful thought...what if he thinks I live in my car its so full of junk...now when it cools off I will vacuum and clean it....but the junk is out...so thats what I tackled ...

It seems that my luck is getting better on winning (should buy a lottery ticket) this weekend I won this month's KOTM Here Now she just posted a link to another blog that is giving 4 of them away...so go Here for a chance ......Good Luck Scrappy Friends...and on that note off to see what trouble Houdini is in ....catch you later

  1. Good for you for tackling your car! I think I've told you about the time somebody asked me in the Wal-Mart parking lot if I was moving ... or homeless ... because my car was so full of junk. That was my old Oldsmobile, too. *sigh* I loved that car.

Talking with you about 'tackling' things inspired me! I cleaned up the girls' room last night, did some rearranging, straightened up K's dresser. The closet is still a huge mess - one big pile of M's clothes. That will have to wait until another time.

Oh, and I finally ironed and hung 'new' curtains in our bedroom. I bought them months ago ... possibly before M was born. I ironed the first of three completely. The second one, I only ironed the fabric sash/ribbon part. The third one, I hung up unironed. But they are up!

  2. And what's this talk of your heart going funky? You have some explaining to do, sister.
