Casimir Pulaski Day

Had the day off! Thank you Casmir, looks like this will be the last one though, they are trying to get it waived for next year (along with SPRING BREAK cutting Christmas Break shorter) ..but I am not ticked or anything... Last night spent most of the night moving China ....I kept saying I am sure this would look nice in lil sisters house..(some was a hand painted beach scene lol) then one of those teary eyed moments happened..When Mom and Dad moved from next door...my dad took charge of painstakingly putting the hand painted china back into the two china cabinets ...remember it vividly... as we were removing the china, noted that dad had put the shelves back in upside down, so the plate rails were facing down...I took pictures of them before removing each shelve...mom asked why and I said so we can get it back the way it was...thats when I lost it, so wish Dad was here to help with this ...a) we would not have needed to hire a painter as he was the master painter b) I would have helped him move stuff for the rooms ...instead of doing it all alone..he was the master packer/mover and when we moved the furniture from living room to dining room last week the cop next door could not believe that we fit as much as we did..tonight did the same with dining room stuff...guess dad rubbed off on me...anywho...here are the pictures from the cabinet tops (figure if we have all this china mine as well display it ..the grapevine was from my old place (actually Great Uncles) and it was a beast to move and put back up ....



Dining room is on its way to being green..finish 2nd coat tomorrow...then his last space will be the entry way and hall outside my room ...which mom picked sandy/gold color (not my first choice but refrain from commenting until done) so must get off and clear hallway...Catch you later.....
