More Presents to share

First off, my secret Santa, I rigged it (good thing of running it) so I would have Lois, who is a 3rd Grade teacher, but also, a friend, and was the best 4th Grade teacher a girl could have....She introduced me back then to Judy Blume and Beverly Cleary, and to this day if she is reading one to her class, I stop to listen. Yesterday's gift is one I wanted to share (others where small things like the blue photo holder shown previously) ever since I saw this post I knew instantly I wanted to do this for Lois, as she is retiring (way too young) at the end of this school year. We will not discuss the denial I am in....but will show some of the final project prior to her receiving it (don't know if she liked it as tempted as I was to ask, can't reveal ourselves until the BIG breakfast on Friday AM) Forgive the pictures ...

If you note I used the same paper (Miss Elizabeth's) on the comp notebook as I did on her photo holder, this was such a fun and inexpensive but awesome idea....

Now more gifts, my teacher Linda is a huge Mickey Mouse fan, so for her photo holder I used a kit and made hers..then my friend/coworker Julie, loves purple (has since we were in Lois' 4th grade together) so found some purple paper, then (which not shown since camera is acting up) I used the swiss dots folder on the side panels..for the gift bags, I used plain lunch sacks, used the fiskars ribbon punch, then used some American Crafts Christmas Ribbon(That I got with my Aunt in $1 spot at Jo's) The final one is a Starbucks Frap bottle, in which I just painted the lid, tied some more AC ribbon, filled with various kisses..and there you have it..

I have more variations of the photo holders to show, but tired & don't know if coworkers will get them come Friday (Last day before Break woohoo !) as here is the weather coming my way tomorrow...

.ICE STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM CST /4 PM EST/THURSDAY TO 12 PM CST /1 PM EST/ FRIDAY.

All together now.......YUCK...I hate ice, probably means no electricity, which means I will be on all night sump pump watch..this time about 2 years ago exactly were out for 36 hours...and mom has still yet to buy generator..thank God for the people who farm for us having an "extra" one just in case...so if I do not post again for awhile..that may be why...Thanks for reading my catch up long post...Catch you later
